Lipomas can appear anywhere on the body, but are most commonly found on the neck, shoulders, back, abdomen, arms, or thighs.

They can be painless, but can also cause discomfort/pain as it grows or if is near or under a muscle.

You are able to go home the same day as the procedure.
Sebaceous Cyst

-
Sometimes these can become infected and require drainage and antibiotics. The cyst wall is still present after this so the cyst will come back over time.
-
They are removed surgically under sedation and/or local anesthesia.
-
It is important to remove the entire cyst wall during surgery to minimize the chance of it coming back.
